03 Feb Discover 3 of the Most Commonly Used Oils for Skin
Almond Oil
This oil is suitable for all skin types, particularly sensitive skin. It is an extraordinary source of vitamins and minerals and is recommended for skin with dermatitis, cracks, or burns due to its moisturising power. Its high content of Vitamin E, Omega 3, and Omega 6 makes it an excellent skin regenerating agent.
For body care, sweet almond oil firms the skin, giving it a tighter appearance, and helps prevent stretch marks due to its hydrating properties.
Coconut Oil
Used for both skin and hair, coconut oil is one of the most popular in cosmetics. It has numerous toning properties and protects and softens both skin and hair. For this reason, it is commonly used as a hair mask.
However, experts do not recommend it for oily skin or hair, although it is highly effective for dry skin and hair.
Argan Oil
Considered the best antioxidant for the skin, argan oil is especially valued for mature skin. It is capable of combating free radicals, delaying oxidation and tissue degeneration.
Its potent antioxidant property comes from Vitamin E, and to put it into perspective, argan oil contains 50 times more Vitamin E than olive oil, which is already known for its antioxidant properties.
