Jollof Rice is a traditional dish from West Africa. It is believed to have originated in the ancient Wolof culture and is now a symbol of Ghanaian cuisine.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of rice
- 1 can of crushed tomatoes
- 1 chopped onion
- 2 cloves of garlic, chopped
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 2 cups of chicken broth
- 1 tsp sweet paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation:
- Sauté the onion and garlic in oil.
- Add the paste and tomatoes, and cook for 10 minutes.
- Add the rice and mix well.
- Pour in the broth and seasonings, and cook until the rice is tender.
