Banana mousse is a light, refreshing, and delicious dessert that you can prepare in just a few minutes. With just a few ingredients, you can surprise your guests with a homemade and original dessert.
Ingredients:
250 grams of banana
50 grams of sugar
20 ml of lemon juice
240 ml of whipping cream
Granola for decoration
Preparation:
Peel the bananas and place them in a bowl. Mash them with a fork until you get a puree.
In a saucepan, place the banana puree, sugar, and lemon juice. Cook over high heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and reduces slightly.
Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the mixture cool.
In a separate bowl, beat the whipping cream until stiff peaks form.
Fold the cooled banana mixture into the whipped cream using gentle folding motions. Be careful not to deflate the air that has been incorporated into the whipped cream.
Pour the mousse into a piping bag and decorate individual cups or glasses. You can use granola, nuts, or fresh fruits for decoration.
Tips:
You can use different types of bananas for this recipe, such as ripe or green bananas.
If you want a sweeter mousse, you can add more sugar to the banana mixture.
You can use an electric mixer to whip the whipping cream more easily.
You can refrigerate the mousse for a few hours before serving to make it firmer.
