Define the Ideal Shape:
- Observe the Shape of Your Face. Eyebrows can help soften or accentuate your features. For instance, if you have a round face, arched eyebrows can help elongate it.
- Mark Key Points. Use a pencil to mark three key points on each eyebrow: the start, the arch, and the end.
- Align a pencil from the side of your nose to the inner corner of your eye. This point will mark the beginning of your eyebrow.
- Place the pencil from the side of your nose through the outer edge of your pupil. This is the highest point of your eyebrow.
- Extend the pencil from the side of your nose to the outer corner of your eye. This point will mark the end of your eyebrow.
Prepare Your Tools:
- Tweezers: Opt for high-quality tweezers with a slanted tip for greater precision.
- Brush: Use a brush to comb and organise the hairs before and after tweezing.
- Small Scissors: Choose ones with rounded tips to avoid accidental cuts.
- Pencil or Powder: For filling and defining, select a shade similar to your natural hair colour.
- Mirror: Preferably one with magnification for better visibility.
- Disinfectant: To clean the tweezers before and after use.
Precise Tweezing:
- Brush Your Eyebrows Upwards: This will give you a better view of the hairs you need to remove.
- Work Slowly and Carefully: To avoid plucking more hairs than necessary.
- Always Tweeze in the Direction of Hair Growth: To prevent ingrown hairs.
- Gently Stretch the Skin: Use your fingers to slightly pull the skin around the area you’re tweezing. This will make the hairs stand up and be easier to remove.
- Take Breaks if Needed: If you experience pain or discomfort, take a break.
Trim Long Hairs:
- Brush Upwards: This will concentrate the hairs and help you see which ones are too long.
- Trim Carefully: Use small scissors to trim only the tips that extend beyond the desired shape.
