Curly Ponytail with Two Braids in 5 Minutes

Curly Ponytail with Two Braids in 5 Minutes

To create a curly ponytail with two braids in just five minutes, follow these simple steps for a stylish, polished look:

Prep Your Hair
Start by washing your hair with a moisturising shampoo and conditioner that enhances curls and gives them definition and movement. After applying a heat protectant, dry your hair using a diffuser attachment on your hairdryer, as you normally would.

Section Your Hair
Using a brush designed for curly hair, divide your hair into four sections. Secure each section with large clips, allowing you to work on the front without interference while creating the braids.

Braid the Front
Take a small section of hair from the front, starting from the root to just before the crown. Create a classic three-strand braid, ensuring it’s tightly braided to the scalp from the roots to the ears for a sleek, neat look. Repeat on the other side, securing both ends with clear elastic bands.

Create the Ponytail
Once both braids are done, gather your hair, including the braids, into a mid-high ponytail using an elastic hairband.

Finishing Touches
To finish the look, tuck the ends of the braids under the ponytail and secure them with hairpins. Set the style with a spritz of hairspray for long-lasting hold.
