Strawberries with cream is a fresh and easy-to-prepare dessert, very popular in various parts of the world. In Latin America, it is especially enjoyed during strawberry season, and it’s a combination that never fails.

Ingredients:

• 500g of fresh strawberries
• 1 cup of heavy cream
• 3 tablespoons of sugar
• 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence

Preparation:

• Wash the strawberries well and cut them into halves or quarters.
• Whip the cream with the sugar and vanilla until firm.

• Serve the strawberries in a bowl and top with whipped cream.
• Optionally, sprinkle a little sugar on top for an extra touch of sweetness.
