Year after year, make-up brands launch new ranges with colors ranging from the lightest and practically identical to your skin tones, to dark tones like purple, red and some even use fluorescent.
What we must be clear about is the difference between what we like (almost everything) and what suits us. For this, we must take into account the color of our skin as the first basic reference, although the color of the hair and the clothes and accessories of each moment also influence.
Medium skin
- Ideal colors: medium tones in general. Browns, browns, dark pinks, nude tones (for natural looks) and soft oranges.
- For the night: cherry, carmine red or hot pink.
- They are not favored: very dark browns, as it hardens your features too much, especially if the hair is brown or dark.
Dark skin
- Ideal colors: both light and dark favor dark skin and, above all, colored skin.
- For the night: burgundy tone or a light tone that contrasts if your complexion is dark.
- They are not favored: mauve and purple. They give them a very dull appearance.
