Chicken Skewers

Chicken Skewers

Having friends over or just want to make something different, easy, and filling? These oven-baked chicken skewers are an excellent choice. Juicy, full of flavor, and super versatile, you can pair them with fresh veggies, homemade sauces, or whatever you have on hand. A recipe that never fails!

Ingredients

  • 500 g chicken breast
  • 1 vegetable bouillon cube (grated)
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1/2 onion
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 4 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp sweet paprika
  • Skewer sticks (as needed)

Preparation

  • Make the mixture: In a food processor or blender, place the chopped chicken breast, grated bouillon cube, garlic cloves, onion, parsley, egg, oil, breadcrumbs, and paprika. Process until you get a thick, homogeneous paste.
  • Form the skewers: With floured hands (to prevent sticking), shape walnut-sized balls. Thread each one onto a skewer stick, leaving enough space to hold them easily.
  • Cook: Place the skewers on a lightly oiled baking tray and bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C (350 °F) for about 20 minutes, until golden on the outside and fully cooked inside.

Tip: Serve with carrot sticks, cucumber, zucchini, or cherry tomatoes. A treat for everyone!
