23 Jun Banana and Chocolate Cakes in the Air Fryer
Ingredients For the cakes:
2 large ripe bananas
2 eggs
80 g sugar
80 ml mild oil
120 g all-purpose flour
10 g baking powder
20 g unsweetened cocoa powder
60–80 g chocolate chips or chopped chocolate
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 pinch of salt

For the chocolate ganache:
200 ml cream
150 g chocolate

Instructions:
Peel and mash the bananas in a large bowl until you get a smooth purée.
Add the eggs, sugar, oil, and vanilla, and mix well until the batter is smooth and well combined.
Sift the flour, baking powder, cocoa, and salt over the mixture, and gently fold everything together until you get a uniform batter.
Add the chocolate chips and mix gently to distribute them evenly.

Lightly grease the mold (individual molds or one large pan).
Preheat the air fryer to 170–180 °C (340–350 °F) for a few minutes.
Pour the batter into the mold and cook:
12–15 minutes if using individual molds
30–35 minutes if using a large mold
Check for doneness by inserting a toothpick; it should come out clean or with a few moist crumbs.
For the ganache, heat the cream and add the chocolate. Stir until fully melted and smooth.
Let the cakes rest for a few minutes, then unmold and cool on a rack.
Cover with the chocolate ganache and serve.
